"Social justice"

DO NOT FOLLOW THE CROWD IN DOING WRONG. WHEN YOU GIVE TESTIMONY IN A LAWSUIT, DO NOT PERVERT JUSTICE BY SIDING WITH THE CROWD, AND DO NOT SHOW FAVORITISM TO A POOR MAN IN HIS LAWSUIT.              EX 23:1

"Social justice" is a term of socialism and communism. It is an UN-AMERICAN IDEAL. The idea of government deciding who has too much or too little gives the government unlimited power to punish success, to dole out benefits and so, to take away.

The Scripture above is behind the American ideal of "justice". The Supreme Court has a statue above the entrance of a woman with a blindfold meaning that justice is "blind". The courts should NEVER take into account whether a man is rich or poor, black or white, man or woman. It should seek only JUSTICE. "Social justice" seeks to strip the rich man of the fruits of his own labor, and to give to the poor man, favoring him only because he is poor. That is NOT JUSTICE.

The greatness in our Constitution is that it describes a list of what government CANNOT DO TO US. Our founders knew government to be potentially evil. Americans have always had a healthy distrust of government (though, sadly, that is changing). But Obama is not happy with our Constitution. It is "flawed" and he thinks it does not go far enough. Barack Obama has complained that the civil rights laws did not go far enough. That the courts did not strive for social and economic "justice" which, to Obama, is a "tragedy". Obama wants our courts to "break free from the constraints placed on government by our Constitution". This should strike terror into the hearts of every American.  Once the courts "break free" from our Constitution then no one is safe from arbitrary rulings based on class warfare.

Socialism and Communism seek to use government to shape society, to socially engineer the masses. To do that government must have a vision of what is best for society and if you don't agree then you must be stripped of your power to object (beware of an Obama FCC that will seek to strip talk radio of its right to exist by "The Fairness Doctrine").

Our schools have not been teaching the evil and oppressiveness that is Socialism which is why there is no alarm from young people who hear the word 'socialism'. God help us if Obama succeeds in changing the foundations of America. He will have the chance to appoint Supreme Court judges. Anyone who values true freedom should be afraid.

"...what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? ...a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government." - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address - Wednesday, March 1, 1801

Obama says Constitution "Flawed"

Have you heard the new audio of Obama speaking? Go to Youtube and search "Obama bombshell redistribution of wealth audio uncovered".

Now there is no question that what Obama thinks is that our Constitution is fundamentally "flawed". He said it. In his own words.

Our Constitution is the most brilliant document ever drafted by man. It has given us the longest, freest, most prosperous form of government in the history of the world. Our founders enumerated the LIMITS of government; things the government CANNOT DO TO US. In other words, our natural rights come from God and government is a form of oppression. We need government to "provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity" and stay the hell out of our lives as much as possible! Our founders thought that government, at best, was evil and that "that government was best that governed least". Thomas Paine said that. Over 200 years, "we the people" have amended those things that needed amending, to INCREASE the freedom of every individual. Now here comes Obama to say that the Constitution is "flawed" because it doesn't tell us WHAT GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO DO FOR US! You and I know that that list is ENDLESS. In the words of Mark Steyn, "Don't ask what your country can do for you, DEMAND IT"!

America has always been great because we are FREE. But now Obama wants the government to do things for us, and as a result, to us. He wants wealth to be redistributed. You see, there are those who work 16 hours a day to be a success and when they become a success Obama wants government to take that money and redistribute it to others "less fortunate". Now, my Liberal friends, don't write and tell me that that is only "fair". America takes care of its poor. But when we allow Big Brother to define "fair" our days of freedom ARE OVER!

Yes, my friends, Obama is a Marxist. Now, I will get ugly comments about that but I fear those very same people probably do not have the same view of America that we have; as the solution to the world's problems.  Millions born in poverty have risen to great success and wealth BY HARD WORK. For 232 years America has been the beacon of hope. The census tells us that those in poverty today will not be in poverty in 5 years. Those in poverty 10 years ago are no longer in poverty. But with the shackles that Obama promises no one will be able to rise from poverty, with or without the help of government. Government does not make anyone a success. It makes them dependents. With views like these will Obama be able to put his hand on the Bible and promise to uphold the Constitution of the United States?

Who is really "shredding the Constitution"?

Bill Ayers in the White House

Isn't it curious the connection between ACORN, Bill Ayers, Obama and the Weather Underground? Apparently, the founder of ACORN is Ward Rathke, a former member of SDS, Students for a Democratic Society, a terrorist group. The radicalism of ACORN, thus, is without dispute, and their agenda of registering voters takes on a more shady connotation. The fraud that is being perpetrated and investigated by the FBI takes on more meaning. The Weather Underground sprung from SDS and we all know that Bill Ayers was a Weather Underground terrrorist. SDS was a terrorist group that affiliated itself with other anti-American groups such as communists. Obama, as smart as we are told he is, didn't know any of this? In Chicago? Here is why all of this is relevant:

"Do one of three things.  One, go find a wailing wall and feel sorry for yourselves.  Two, go psycho and start bombing -- but this will only swing people to the right.  Three, learn a lesson.  Go home, organize, build power and at the next convention, you be the delegates." (emphasis in original)

  - Saul Alinsky; Rules for Radicals; p. xxiii

Obama has learned this lesson well. Ask the Hillary delegates in Texas! Google " 'We Will Not Be Silenced' A documentary about the voter fraud in the Democratic Presidential Primary 2008"

Bill Ayers is relevant today because of his education agenda. An agenda that teaches kids to be anti-American, hate-filled radicals. Bill has followed Saul Alinsky's advice and taken his radicalism to the next step by becoming " a model citizen", teaching the next generation of radicals.

Two years ago Bill Ayers traveled to Venezuela to pay homage to his hero Hugo Chavez (his speech here: http://billayers.wordpress.com/2006/11/). He has called himself a communist with a small 'c'.

Here's the nut: Obama has sat on the board of Bill Ayers' foundations, has endorsed and has funneled millions into them,  promoting their radical agenda. Will Obama take this agenda to the White House? We know he is willing to "spread the wealth around". This is what John McCain has to find out. Our "free press" has failed to do their job. They have shown more curiosity about Joe the plumber than about Obama's radical connections. It's up to the American people. If ACORN doesn't succeed first.

Chad

Chad, I know it all sounds very nice. Here's the facts: the top 25% of income earners in this country pay 86.0% of ALL TAXES. The top 50% pay 97% of all taxes. The top 1% of income earners pay 39% of all taxes, up 2% from 2000 when President Bush took office.
The bottom 40% DO NOT PAY TAXES. When Obama says the bottom 95% cut tax cuts what he really means is that the bottom 40% will get checks in the mail of money THEY DID NOT EARN. That is welfare.
Now, when you say big business doesn't give back-what universe are you living in? They employ thousands of employees with great benefits and 401k's. They provide the services and products that run this country. Are you wearing clothes? Shoes? Driving a car? Pumping gas? Flying? Brought to you by big corporations. You see, i don't appreciate Democrats pitting one group of Americans against another. That's what they do in communist countries to manipulate the proletariat. I want to become a big corporation some day. I don't want to be penalized for being successful. Fred Smith became FedEx. America is business! Government should not be in the business of deciding who is too successful and then deciding to penalize you because you make too much money. That is call social engineering. Very bad.
We tax corporations at 35%. It's no wonder they are moving out of the country. They're moving to places like Ireland where the corporate tax rate is 11%. Why doesn't that connect with Democrats? After all it's mostly Democrats who are crying that jobs are leaving the country. Americans used to be proud of our big corporations. We had the best airlines, the best cars, the best medicine. Now Democrats have burdened big business with so many regulations and taxes that corporations are struggling to make it and are leaving the country in droves.
It isn't greed to want to keep the fruit of your hard work, to get ahead, to leave it to your kids, to invest it. Joe the plumber is not a rich guy. He just wants to get ahead without help or interference from government. I do too. And yes, since we began the "Great Society" programs from the '60's poverty has not abated. It has gotten worse. If i provide a house and some money to my 30 year old son he will have no incentive to find a job. If I let him he will live with me forever. That principle works on a grand scale, too. We are all to human.
This country is built on HARD WORK. Obama is a socialist. Look at his record in Chicago and his "community organizing". Bill Ayers has called himself a small 'c' communist. His agenda is Obama's agenda. Which is why we need to know the extent of Obama's involvement with the anti-American education "reform" that he and Bill Ayers taught the children in Chicago.
Obama will rape our bank accounts. He wants to raise the taxes on capital gains and death taxes. Democrat George Miller, House Education and Labor committee chairman, wants to nationalize 401k plans. Google "George Miller" and "401k" and read about it. This is Obama's future administration.
If you think Democrats, after 70 years, are going to change their stripes and become free marketers you are sadly mistaken. Obama will strip you of every responsibility and every penny and convince you that it's for your own good.

I know Obama sounds wonderful. I know he is eloquent. But given the choice between bread and freedom, I choose freedom and I'll make my own bread, thank you very much.

Mildred

Mildred:
Here I quote Stephen Moore, who is president of the Club for Growth:
"There is a sharp contrast between the performance of the U.S. economy before, and then after the Reagan tax cuts. In 1980 the U. S. inflation rate hit a record high of 13.5%. Mortgage interest rates soared to 20 percent creating a moribund housing industry. America was rapidly deindustrializing. Unemployment had reached its highest level in 40 years. We were literally teetering on the brink of a 1930s style depression. Economist Henry Kaufman of Salomon Brothers reflected the gloomy mood of most Americans at that time when he remarked, "I am aghast at how much our country has faltered."

In the early 1980s when I graduated from college, the economy was so bad and jobs were so scarce, it was hard to get hired as a burger flipper at the minimum wage.

Reagan's tax-rate cuts — combined with his emphasis on sound money, deregulation, and free trade — created a mighty economic expansion in the 1980s. Bob Bartley of the Wall Street Journal described this period as "the seven fat years." Any student of the 1980s, who wishes to know what really happened to the economy in the Reagan years must read Bartley's invaluable book by that title. This expansion carried through the 1990s as well — creating America's greatest sustained wave of prosperity ever. "

The economy grew by more than one-third in size. Growth was so high in the 1980s that grouchy leftists were forced to resort to ridiculing the Reagan years as the "decade of greed." '

Reagan's policies saved our economy. Period. We were in a downward spiral from the 70's and it didn't stop immediately on Jan. 21, 1980 when Reagan took office but we started to recover when President Reagan lowered the tax rate.

Here is a fact: Republicans want you to keep the money you make, no matter what your economic class. It makes our economy run. We believe in equal OPPORTUNITY. Democrats want your money to redistribute it. They believe in equal OUTCOME, at any cost.

Obama has been quoted as saying to a plumber, ""It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too," Obama responded. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
"Spreading the wealth around" will not motivate anyone to work harder. My husband owns a small business. One employee. Last year we celebrated our first year that we earned $250,000. for the year! Believe me, WE ARE NOT RICH. Our house is worth about $200,000. Obama will hurt us.

What it all comes down to is this: There are those who believe that there are "two America's". The haves and the have nots. And that the haves need government to succeed. They vote Democrat. Then there are those that believe that they can make it on their own. They work hard, sometimes for very little. But they don't want government interference. They don't see "two Americas". They know that if they work hard they will succeed. Others have done it; they can too. They believe in the American Dream. They are Republicans.

Now, to be fair, Democrats may believe in the American Dream, too, but they have been convinced by Demogogues, that the deck is stacked against them.

Government has failed again and again at every social program they've tried, causing instead more poverty. The hard earned money we work for is used for graft, earmarks, pork, social programs that don't work, perqs for politicians. While Democrats want us to believe that "paying taxes is patriotic" (Joe Biden) they are lying. We started a revolution because of high taxes.

I will vote for a politician who wants me to keep my money, not for the one who wants my money.

Ayers is relevant today

What does John McCain have to do tonight? He has to ask Obama if he still endorses Bill Ayers education "reform" agenda. As little as two years ago Bill Ayers spoke in Venezuela in a speech that paid tribute to Hugo Chavez where he said, in part,

"I began teaching when I was 20 years old in a small freedom school affiliated with the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. The year was 1965, and I’d been arrested in a demonstration. Jailed for ten days, I met several activists who were finding ways to link teaching and education with deep and fundamental social change. They were following Dewey and DuBois, King and Helen Keller who wrote: “We can’t have education without revolution. We have tried peace education for 1,900 years and it has failed. Let us try revolution and see what it will do now.”

In 1997 Obama endorsed and praised Ayers book in the New York Times, "A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of the Juvenile Court". Obama called it "a searing and timely account of the juvenile court system".

In light of all this it would surely be germane to ask Obama if he still agrees with Ayers agenda, which is anti-American. I would want John McCain to ask Obama what his view of Ayers views are. After all, i would add, Obama, sat has recently on boards with Ayers, funneling millions to those boards, and all for teaching small children how to hate America. This is relevant.

I would not allow the media to convince me that voters hate this 'divisive' strategy. Not true. The American people have a right to know what Obama thinks of anti-American education for children.

Unfortunately, I don't think John McCain will do it. John McCain is a nice, honorable man. Though he has brought up some issues of interest to the conservative base, on the whole I think McCain has an illusion that Obama is running an honorable campaign and that the media will be fair. It is up to the base to alert the American people of Obama's radical views. So radical that U.S. communists say "their time has come" (http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5i3XP-_KUyChI-BScTCBNRspcdi2g).

"Can't we just all get along"?

I can almost hear 1 million heads explode as I listen to my afternoon talk show, the Hugh Hewitt show, with Dean Barnett, sitting in for Hugh. "Can't we all just get along" is the message. And not only on Hugh's show but also on Michael Medved's show. If I've heard it once, I've heard it a million times, "This is not a bailout, the American people don't understand". Hel-loo! In case anyone's noticed, we have an election coming up in a month and a major economic crisis about to bring down the country and the Democrats are responsible for it. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and team Obama are going to do everything they can to hang this around George W. Bush's and Republicans' necks, but hey, let's just all get along! "It's not the time to point fingers". Of course not! 30 days out from an election. Let's just all lay down and let the Democrats run right over us. I just don't get it! We've been angry because John McCain has allowed Obama to get away with so many lies and disgusting gestapo tactics (and before anyone accuses me of hyperbole, witness Missouri prosecutors Jennifer Joyce and Bob McCullough's enlistment in the "Obama truth squad"). "Let Sarah loose" we've cried. And now, our voices of conservatism are muzzling themselves. I guess conservative principles are wonderful except when we are in crisis! In time of crisis let's lay down our principles and sing Kum-ba-ya! Or better still, let's join the Obama kids and sing, "Obama's gonna change it, Obama's gonna lead 'em" right down the path to destruction.

Palin wins!

Sarah Palin charmed the heck out of this debate and left her audience dazzled! Of course, the msm will have their version but who watches them anymore? "Say it ain't so, Joe"-LOVED IT! She is experienced and charming. She did what she had to do in this debate. She connected with me, ordinary mom and wife.

Kathleen Parker, shallow

I am deeply frustrated by the dissonant voices on the right calling for Gov. Sarah Palin to step down. Kathleen Parker, for example. What a shame. Conservatives have always stood for the common sense of our founders; God, country, family; "I don't know how to describe pornography but I know it when I see it", high taxes are a burden to people, children are best taught about sex at home by their parents, etc. I don't worry about a Gov. Palin in charge, or a George W. Bush, for that matter even though I have not always agreed with our President, he has stood for love of country and God. This is substance. The gift of the ability to speak eloquently is not given to everyone but the ability to think and to practice Godly convictions and hold fast to Godly principles in the face of adversity, is also rare and in this day and age, becoming even rarer still. Which of these is more important? The ability to be quick with a witty answer or the rock solid character of Godly conviction?

Obama, on the other hand, is polished. Beautiful words, shiny and polished, a quick "nuanced" answer that we know he personally doesn't believe. He's for "sensible" gun control, he's worried about the "middle class", he wants health care for everyone and he won't raise our taxes to do it. As a matter of fact, he'll cut taxes on "95%" of all Americans. I don't think that even his far left base believes everything he says. They know he has to pretend to be moderate to get the votes. But he sounds so good! In fact, the son of our beloved William F. Buckley, Christopher Buckley has said he may vote for him! "A continuation of Bush policies", he says of McCain! Uh, yeah, those are free market policies. I guess he thinks Obama's socialism might work better! Phew! Is this what we've come to? Are we so easily deceived by pretty words? An angel of light, arrayed in all the finest, so beautiful they are stunned senseless. How is it that ordinary Americans are not fooled but our best and brightest are? Is truth not as important anymore? Do principles mean nothing? Heaven help us!
