Second Chances

This Christmas I pray that you all will be able to give thanks for everything that cannot be bought but that came at great price. The gift of a second chance. A second chance in the form of a babe. One of my favorite passages in Scripture is what Jesus said to the thief on the cross when He was crucified: "This day you will be with me in paradise". THIS DAY. The thief didn't attend religious classes, didn't go to communion or confession, didn't know the difference between a mortal or a venal sin. He didn't come from a long line of Christians. HE JUST BELIEVED. Two thousand and eight years ago, give or take, God became a babe to bring us back into a relationship with Him.

Liars

A more fitting example of Liberal hypocrisy can hardly be found! Caroline Kennedy is "experienced" enough to be the senator from New York, never having ever held any elected position in her life, nor a corporate one to boot, but Sarah Palin, after two years as Governor of Alaska and mayor of her small town and commissioner of an energy post, has NO EXPERIENCE?? Now I know the left are liars!
